Got to work this morning and was greeted with a damaged install of Windows...my machine would not boot....mid-day, one of my IT co-workers said "not to one-up you or anything, but we just lost the server "******" .....and to top it all off, our data service provider for our Blackberry devices just let us know (after we called and asked them) that there are rolling data outages that started in Chicago, which have the potential of making our BB email users be without email for up to 24 hours...I also see that Blogger is "scheduling an outage" for later this afternoon as well...Hmmm...it sucks to be so technology tethered...I was so frantic earlier this morning when my machine was down that I thought I would be sick....the BB thing is not nearly a disconcerting to me as the thought of losing my "plum" set up on my personal computer that I use every day.....up side? it seems to be running much better since I had to troubleshoot...go fig...but leave it to me to try to find the silver lining in the cloud...
